Attention Colleagues:
Paper Abstract Reviewers Needed for WJEC 2016, Auckland, New Zealand
The fourth World Journalism Education Congress will be held at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in Auckland, New Zealand July 14 and 16, 2016. It follows the successful third congress held in Mechelen, Belgium in July 2013. (For details see http://wjec.net) With the support of journalism education organizations worldwide, the Congress is designed to provide a discussion forum on common issues and interests and a foundation for supporting the continuing development of journalism and journalism education worldwide. For the WJEC to run a successful paper competition, we need your assistance in reviewing paper abstracts (maximum 800 words). These will be available electronically after the December 11, 2015 submission deadline. The number of paper abstracts we will ask you to review will depend on the number of submissions and the number of paper reviewers we will receive. However, we have allowed enough time in our planning to ensure you will have at least four weeks from the time you receive paper abstracts until you have to turn in your reviews. Reviewers will use a point system to evaluate the abstracts. In addition, we urge reviewers to write critiques, as these are especially helpful to the authors as they write their final papers. If you can serve as a paper abstract reviewer, please complete the form below and submit via our online submission system. To know more on how to evaluate abstracts online, please see the document below
